Glee Cast - I Have Nothing
Unpopular opinion: I really don’t like it. He’ll kill the performance, but on audio alone he is way too high. The only part where I think he sounds good is on the bridge where they drop him down an octave. If they had brought it down it would have sounded much better and far less strained. Also he could have gotten a lot more of the vocal emotion into the song - he’s totally capable of it, but not at that octave. Especially on the “don’t walk away from me”, it would have been breathtaking if it had been in a place where he could actually sing it.
