Because when Klaine wasn’t actually Klaine, then they weren’t threatening because there was no Klaine.  So they could be as Klaine as they wanted because in the end they weren’t really Klaine so audiences didn’t have to think about things like Klisses and Klex and all other Klaine-y things because Klaine didn’t exist.
